As passionate freedivers and ocean lovers, we created Palm Beach Snorkeling to share the beauty of Florida’s waters with others. With years of experience in guiding and marine conservation, we ensure every tour is fun, safe, and unforgettable.
Nature Nick– Freedive Instructor & Snorkel Guide
Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Nick developed a deep appreciation for nature and the underwater world from a young age. His passion for aquatic life led him to pursue a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University, specializing in fish biology and management. After moving to Florida, he discovered the state’s incredible underwater ecosystems, completing his PADI Open Water SCUBA and freediving certifications. Nick loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for Florida’s marine life, ensuring every guest has a safe, fun, and unforgettable experience. When he’s not guiding tours, he runs his own company, NTG Bookkeeping.
Katie– Divemaster & Snorkel Guide
Katie is a marine scientist, Divemaster, and photographer with a deep passion for helping others connect with the underwater world. With over a decade of experience in marine science and conservation, she brings a unique blend of ecological knowledge, adventure, and enthusiasm to every snorkel experience. Her background includes coral reef ecology, fisheries research, coastal conservation, and marine outreach, as well as fieldwork and dive experience in Florida and Indonesia. Whether she’s guiding guests in the water or sharing stories about the marine life around them, Katie loves creating meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the ocean.
Ericka– Snorkel Guide & Mermaid Instructor
Ericka is a freediver, snorkel guide, mermaid instructor, and yoga instructor with a lifelong connection to the ocean. Having grown up on the water, she developed a deep-rooted love for the sea that eventually guided her from her yoga practice on land to exploring the depths of the blue. While yoga grounded her on land, freediving is what truly set her free in the ocean. Today, she has transformed these passions into a career she loves. As a guide and mermaid instructor at Live Free Diving, Ericka is honored to share the magic of the underwater world with her community. She believes that through conscious breathing and fluid movement, anyone can feel at home in the ocean—so grab your fins (or your tail), and she’ll see you in the water.
